A Quick Snapshot of Our Culture

One question most people ask is “What is this church like?” It’s hard to answer this since we’re still just getting started, but here are a few things we are certain will define us as a church.

We are a praying church. That means we’ll pray often, we’ll pray together, and we’ll encourage you to find the power of God through prayer.

We are a Holy Spirit led. We say this because we want people to know that God has input in all that happens.

We are an equipping church. We know that church is a collective of people, not a staff of pastors. Our heart is our vision statement: Growing believers to bring God’s life to the lost.

We are a giving church. But we don’t want to give just a little, we want to be an obscenely generous church! Yep, we just said obscene on a church website (see below for explanation). For all the money that comes into our church, 10% will go back out to missions. In doing this we will be helping to bring God’s life to people all over the world.

We are a fun church! It’s a common misconception that church is boring, but we believe differently. Life is too short to take ourselves so seriously, and at Grow Life we DEFINITELY won’t be doing that. We will laugh and laugh a lot. Go ahead and try it, we promise you’ll like it!

Just know that this isn’t everything, it’s just a picture of what we’re all about. If you really want to know what Grow Life Church is all about, you’ll have to come out and experience it for yourself!
