Elementary Kids

LITE UP! (Living In Truth Even Under Pressure)

When Jesus spoke, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12. To say at Grow Life we LOVE kids is an understatement. Not only do we love kids, but we believe in them. So much so that we make sure they are in a safe environment where biblical truth is taught and lived out loud in a way that empowers them to shine as a light into their homes, schools, and communities. At Grow Life we do a great job of nurturing the "creative & fun" side of a kid while at the same time challenging the God inside of them to shine through worship time, memorable object lessons and small groups. We are committed to come alongside of the parents to equip kids to live for Christ and LITE UP! We are about inspiring and motivating kids. Here is one way we do that.

Incentive Program

Every Sunday kids have the opportunity to earn tickets to redeem for awesome prizes!
** Prizes are rewarded the last Sunday of every month. Here are a few ways to earn tickets: Memory verse, bring a bible, bring a friend.

Nursery/Preschool
Infants - Kindergarteners

Our Nursery/Preschool classes are an age-appropriate, creative and nurturing environment where your child will be gently cared for while you learn about God's Word. From secure check-in to caring workers, your child will be safe in a loving atmosphere.  

What To Bring For Infants – 2 year olds:

Please make sure your child's diaper bag has the following items:
Three to four disposable diapers.
A complete change of clothes.
Any item your child may need for security reasons.
A bottle of milk, juice, or water.
Please label all personal items with your child's first and last name to help us keep track of their personal belongings. 

When You Arrive

You will be greeted by our registration team.  At that time, you will be issued a temporary identification badge for you and your child. Place the sticker on your child and hold onto your badge. In order to reenter the children’s area at any time, you will need to show your temporary parent badge. Please let the teacher know of any information that will help in caring for your child such as feeding times, sleeping times, allergies or any other special needs. If for any reason your child may need you during the service, your number will appear on the screens in the adult service.

Your Child's Health

To ensure the health of children and volunteers, we ask that sick children do not attend class if any of the following exist: fever (over 99.5 degrees), vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours, any symptom of childhood diseases such as scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, chicken pox or whooping cough, common cold - from onset through one week, sore throat, croup, any unexplained rash, any skin infection - boils, ringworm or impetigo, untreated pink eye or other eye infection, any communicable disease, lice, including the presence of eggs or nits. These are the guidelines that we follow and we expect that a child or volunteer be free of fever for 24 hours before coming back to Grow Life Kids.

Snacks

Grow Life Kids does not offer snacks during regular weekend services.

What We Teach

We teach them the Biblical truths that matter most for children this age.  Instead of trying to teach the entire Bible from cover to cover in just a few years, we focus in on the teachings of the Bible that are most helpful and relevant at every age.  We want everyone to learn 3 basic Bible truths:

God Made Me
God Loves Me
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

During our weekend services your child experiences fun worship songs, story telling that brings the Bible to life in an exciting way and time to play with other children and their caregivers in an age appropriate environment.

Pick-up Procedures

At checkout time, we will ask that you present your identification badge to be matched to your child's badge. Once matched, your child will be returned to you along with his/her personal belongings. Please make sure you have received all your child's personal belongings. A child will not be released without a matching identification badge and children will only be released to an adult.
